The six Freesound recordings are the site's high-quality MP3 previews, hosted locally. Playback applies gain, a low-pass filter, a gentle fade-in and crossfades between repetitions. Some field recordings include other natural sounds: the stream includes birds, wind includes rustling trees, and the campfire includes wind.
